Then on her actual birthday, she got to open her present from us!
Which finally got set up a month later...
And then it was on to her Frozen birthday party!
I of course had lots of big plans for this party, but I settled on simple. And I'm so glad I did! The fatigue that has come along with this pregnancy was fierce during this time, so I didn't have the energy to do much!
We had a coloring station with Frozen coloring pages.
We had cupcakes, bottled water and cookies for the food and drink.
We had a cookie decorating station that turned out to be a big hit!
And fake snow for the kids to play in! (I used vegetable oil and corn starch, and it worked great)
We had a "pin the carrot nose on Olaf" game.
I felt bad using a blindfold on 3 and 4 year olds. I did "pin the tire on the tractor" game at Brody's 5th birthday party at Deanna Rose, and, I felt the same way, but I should have learned my lesson! We had a lot of peekers!
Then, we had a snowball fight! I think this was the biggest hit of the party! The kids had a blast and played for about 15 minutes! All I did was ball up tissue paper, and it was perfect!
I just love this picture of her blowing out her candles!
I made reindeer antlers and princess crowns for the kids to wear.
Opening the gifts was a little chaotic, but they all had fun!
And of course, we brought the bounce house. I had originally planned a 3 kid limit, but that was really hard to enforce. Luckily, nobody got hurt!
I posted this picture to facebook after the party. With the caption "Did we celebrate her 4th birthday or 21st?" The girl had a good time! Luckily, one of her gifts was a new Anna dress! This one found it's way to the trash!
