I had a lot of fun planning Madelyn's party. One day when I was baking Christmas cookies, I realized that I had to focus on her sweet tooth with this party. I started to focus on Cookie Monster, but after I realized that she's really not that into Sesame Street, I decided to go with a cookies and milk theme! I am really happy with how everything turned out. Inspiration for the party came mostly from things I found on Pinterest, of course.
I set up a fun little dessert table, since that's all the rage these days...We had Monster Cookies (with pink M&Ms), Chocolate Chip Cookies, Frosted Sugar Cookies (which I do not recommend using whole wheat flour for...oops!), Oreo Cupcakes, old fashioned wafer cookies and strawberry, chocolate and white milk. I saved some Frappucino bottles and purchased some pink heart paper straws for the milk. We also had some bags for people to take cookies home as their party favors. I used my Silhouette cutter to make the banner and cookie labels.
I also had some fruit, cheese and crackers, chips and salsa, mini ham and cheese sandwiches, raspberry chipotle black bean dip and cocktail sausages, but I didn't manage to get a pictures of those...
