They borrowed a blind from our neighbor, and Brody worked on the calls.
Brody was very excited to have actually called in a turkey!
Heath said it was a young Jake, and he could have shot it, but he didn't want Brody to think that hunting was easy.
Plus, he wasn't sure if he was really prepared for just how loud the gunshot would be. I think some better ear protection is needed before they go out again.
They had a blast, Brody did really well, and he can't wait to go out again. He keeps asking Heath when they are going. Hopefully they can fit it in this weekend.
And while the boys went out hunting, Madelyn and I hit up the nail salon, of course!
