Plaza Art Fair

Somehow I missed blogging about our trip down to the Plaza Art Fair! We were kind of going back and forth about going down there because it can kind of be difficult with the kids, but when our friend Jenny announced that she got in at noon on Friday (the first day of the fair), we knew we had to get down there. Last time we went was when Brody was not even 1! This year it was fun because they were able to participate in the kid activities. I love taking advantage of these opportunities to expose the kids to different things, like art. Brody asked a lot of questions this year about the different types of art.

One fun activity they had was veggie stamping. Both of the kids loved it, but they wanted to paint with the veggies instead of just stamping.

Then they had a station where the kids could create a building to add to this town they were forming. Brody is standing next to his red building. His style is contemporary...

I really can't wait until the day that I can afford to actually buy pieces from the Plaza Art Fair! I saw a lot of things that I liked, but it will be a while before I have the funds and the space for real art!
