Putting Brody to Work

Thursday was Take your Daughter Child to Work day. I hadn't planned to bring Brody until a co-worker said she was going to bring her 4 year old for a couple hours. So, I picked Brody up from school and he worked with me from 3:30 to 5:00. We started out the day with a little tour. Brody was pretty grouchy at first. I don't know if he was tired or just being shy. I couldn't even get him to sit up on a mower! Silly boy!

We went down and checked out the flowers...

On our tour he noticed the vending machines, so when we got back in he quickly said he was hungry and needed a snack.

While sitting at my desk he looked at our company photo and he goes, "you got any girls that work here?"  So I had to take him up front to meet some of the girls! So funny!
It was fun to show him around, but I'm glad we didn't plan for any more time than an hour and a half! He got pretty bored after just a few minutes. Thank goodness for the iPad! Maybe we'll try again in a few years!
