We've had some great weather this past week! The temps were up towards the 80s. I haven't paid enough attention to know if we actually hit 80, but it's been gorgeous to say the least! It's a little humid, and my allergies are driving me crazy, but I'm not going to complain!
We have spent every night so far this week outside! The great weather started on Saturday. After the baby shower, I spent the rest of the afternoon sitting on the deck while the kids played in the back yard.
| I even went ahead and pulled out the sand toys! Our sand is actually in really good shape this year. I figured we'd have to replace it, but due to the lack of snow we saw this winter helped. |

Brody was having fun just running. He wanted Madelyn to chase him...but she wasn't interested. When he was 2 he would run around the backyard with Slugger. I think he misses him and doesn't even know it. (hint, hint daddy...your son needs a dog) :)

Sunday was rainy, so we stayed in most of the day. Monday night was gorgeous! We took a walk around the neighborhood. Brody first wanted to ride his bike, until we got to the neighbor's driveway and he decided that he didn't want to...so we stopped and traded his bike for his scooter, which Heath ended up carrying the entire walk anyways...

| Her outfit matches her car. |
Tuesday night we decided to stick around at home and play out front. Our backyard takes a long time to dry out, so it was still wet most of the week. So we did bubbles and chalk out front.
| Brody being a ham...he was all excited about seeing an airplane. |
| Another silly face. |
| This little lady wouldn't let me take a picture of her... |
| Bubbles..."me do it!" |
Wednesday night we headed back out to tackle the neighborhood by wagon. No bikes or scooters this time. Although, Brody ran most of the way. He skinned up his knee and said "it's blooding". He keeps saying that, and we haven't corrected him yet, because I think it's cute.
| Brody snagged my sunglasses...he looks like a young Bradley Cooper, no? |
And tonight we will get to spend some time outside! Heath joined a softball team with some people from my work, so we'll be there from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight. Say a prayer for me...I'm bringing lots of snacks.
