On to my new favorite food blog...it's called Dashing Dish. She's got a real-life, healthy approach to weight loss and her recipes look great. I haven't actually tried any, but I need to go get some vanilla protein powder and make some of her shakes! We like the chocolate around here, but some of recipes sound so great that I think I'll need to get some vanilla! I adjusted my goals on MyFitnessPal so that they were consistent with some of the info she had on her blog.
Oh and some encouraging news...my heart rate monitor was low on batteries and actually died on Friday, so I replaced the batteries and redid all of my settings. On Saturday morning I burned 664 calories! Then this morning I did 596...I think either my watch was weak or my settings were wrong (height, weight, gender, age, etc) because this is a lot higher than it was reading before. I'll take it!
I know these posts are probably boring to anyone reading, but they are helping me to stay accountable and really lose the weight this time! I'm going to try to link up with Ashley...for some reason it hasn't worked the past couple of weeks...
