The morning started with Brody waking up at 6:00...we were optimistic and set the coffee for 6:30, I think we jinxed ourselves! Brody brought be some pink roses and my cards, and we gave Heath his gift and cards.
Then we had a breakfast casserole and watermelon for breakfast. I made it the night before, so I just had to put it in the oven. No cooking for me on mother's day!
Then we had a pretty lazy morning. We usually go to 9:00 mass, but we decided to wait until 10:30 so that Madelyn could get a nap and we wouldn't be rushed. We left straight from church to go to the Royal's game! The weather was great, but it was HOT at our seats! We got Garmin's tickets for the game, so we were really close! I think Heath figured we spent 3 1/2 innings in our seats. Oh well! Brody had a great time playing out in the Outfield Experience, and Madelyn had fun walking around saying hi to people! She got a lot of attention with that big pink hat on!

The kids spent a lot of time outside playing baseball and digging for worms! Before we ate the cupcakes, they all got baths! They really enjoyed the cupcakes! Garrett licked all of his frosting off and left the cake part! It looked like it did before I frosted it!
When I first found out that Heath's birthday fell on Mother's Day, I was kind of bummed, but it was kind of fun to share the day with him! I'm just glad it doesn't happen too often!
