Royals Fanfest 2011

Here are a couple of pictures from Heath and Brody's trip to the Royals Fanfest yesterday. Heath said they had a great time! I know he's been waiting a long time to take his little buddy!

The sports class didn't go so well this morning...we figured Brody would be all over the baseball lesson, but he just wanted to run around. He did participate a little bit, but I think he might not be ready to follow instructions in that setting yet. We're going to skip the next session and try parent-assisted soccer in the spring.

I took him to the dentist this morning and he did great! They had us in and out in 8 minutes! I think I might tell them we have somewhere to be every time! He sat to get his teeth cleaned and get x-rays. He even let the hygienist floss 3 teeth. That was all he let her do, though! We love our dentist! They have such a great atmosphere in the office and are so gentle.

Maddy is getting over her cold and cough, but now Brody and I have it. It's no fun! I'm glad that we are able to take it easy this weekend. All we need to do is make a trip to the grocery store. I was supposed to go to Manhattan tomorrow, but we're supposed to get another 3-6 inches of snow, so my meeting was cancelled.

Oh and I have a volleyball game tomorrow. Did I mention I was playing volleyball? I'm on a team with some people from work. Team Signature. I'm not very good, but I've been having fun! That's all that matters, right?
