We were sitting at dinner one day a while back, and Brody said "What was your favorite part of the trip?". It turns out he heard that on Dora. I've never watched Dora, so I was shocked to hear something so sophisticated come out of his mouth. We aren't really up to 8 word sentences yet! At first I thought he said 'of the day' and I loved it! Ever since, we talk about our favorite part of the day at dinner time. For him, it's mostly whatever he remembers...like yesterday he said that Nora (a little girl at daycare) wouldn't give him a high five. I don't think that was really his favorite part, but it was something that stood out. It's definitely something we'll continue. He usually brings it up before we do. It's so sweet!
In Maddy news...the other day in the bathtub, she picked up a rubber duck and said duck! She picked up the other ducks in the tub and said it for each one. She's so smart! I've been working on getting her to point to her nose...she will point to my nose, but not her own. Stay tuned!
