On Saturday night, we dyed our Easter eggs. I went ahead and purchased egg dye, but I sort of wish I would have gone with the natural dyes. All of the eggs are colored when you peel them, and it turns out my kids love hard boiled eggs!
Then on Sunday morning, I woke up before the kids (not sure I've ever slept past them on Christmas or Easter).
The kids were so excited to come up and see what the Easter Bunny left for them!
Brody was so excited to find a harmonica! He loves to play his grandpa's, so now he's thrilled to have his own.
And of course there was a pink harmonica for Madelyn, too!
After they got through their own baskets, they had to go check out everything that Max and Macie got!
After baskets, it was time for breakfast!
It was so nice outside, so Madelyn and I chose to have breakfast on the deck.
Then we got ready for church.
After Mass, we had an Easter egg hunt!
And of course, grandma had baskets for the kids. She showed the Easter Bunny up a little bit!
This picture cracks me up, because it's so typical...Brody is still unwrapping his basket, and Madelyn already has a handful of candy.
Of course, there was more fishing that afternoon. Brody caught quite a few fish!
And that's all I got pictures of! There was lots of food, and more fishing on Monday before we headed home. We had a great time, and we were so excited to be able to spend Easter with my family! It had been a while!
