Time Travel: Hayride

For the 2nd year in a row, we did a hayride and bonfire at Shawnee Mission Park with my moms group. We actually did this same thing and Heritage Park for Brody's 4th birthday, so I guess you could say it's become part of our annual fall bucket list!

 The hayride took us through the park, and then we stopped for a weenie and marshmallow roast. We were about 5 or 6 weeks into Feingold at this point, so I brought our own hot dogs, buns, marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate.

 The kids had a blast. (When do they not?)

 While it was nice to do it when the weather was decent, I might suggest doing it later in the season next year so we can take advantage of the fall colors. Last weekend would have been perfect!
