Play Ball!

Brody was finally old enough to sign up for t-ball! Heath has been waiting for this day since they day we found out we were buying blue!
The first practice got rained out.
Then, we were in California for the second practice.
And Heath signed up to coach...
But that's ok, because he ended up with a couple great dads to help out.
Heath wasn't going to coach. He signed up to be an assistant, but then a couple weeks before the season started we got an email begging for people to sign up to be the head coach.
And of course, I encouraged him to do it. And I'm so glad he did.
He's doing a great job, and I think the kids like him.
We were worried how Brody would respond to Heath coaching.
We thought he might not listen as well.
 But, so far, so good.
He did so good in his game. Every time they said "Fielders ready?" Brody would shout out "I'm Ready"!
The league rules include all the kids getting to bat each inning, and there are no outs. They got 3 full innings in during the hour and 15 minute game. It was so fun to watch him, and I'm already looking forward to next week!
