Brody is officially a Kindergartner now! It's just crazy how quickly that went by!
Last Wednesday, we left work early to go to his graduation ceremony and to do something fun to celebrate.
They had caps that they made themselves.
And they sang a few songs.
And then they graduated.
We've had Mrs. Donaldson for 2 years. She's been such a blessing and Brody really loves her.
I was really bummed when Madelyn didn't get into her class for next year. So I got her on the wait list and she got in. And we were thrilled, until we found out that Mrs. Donaldson will be teaching Kindergarten at Blue River next year. We're excited for her, but a little bummed that Madelyn won't have her. We'll just have to get her for Kindergarten in 2 years!
Me and my sweet graduate.
Brody with Mrs. Donaldson. And his crooked hat. Always with a crooked hat!
After the graduation we decided to drive down to Crown Center to check out the new Curious George exhibit.
It was ok. The kids love George, so when I heard it was coming, I knew we'd have to get down there. I'm glad we found a weekday to go, and early in the exhibit. Those things tend to get a little grody after you get a lot of little grubby hands on them!
After that we decided to get some dinner. I was pushing for some Mexican off Southwest Blvd, but I didn't win. So Fritz's it was.
We're so proud of Brody and all he's learned this year. This summer we're working on waiting our turn to speak, but other than that, he's ready for Kindergarten!
