Heath had been watching tickets for the Royal's home opener for months! Then, last week, the weather forecast for Monday's game didn't look so good, so he held off a little longer. Finally, after watching the weather report on Monday morning, he decided to buy tickets for him and Brody to go to the game.
They got really great seats, and since he waited until the last minute, he got a good deal on them, too!
Brody wasn't interested in taking a picture for me, so this is the best I got :)
Heath said that Brody did so good at the game. He watched the whole game, and only got up once during the 4th inning to get a snack and go to the bathroom. He's really growing up!
When they got home, Madelyn and I were playing outside waiting for them. Brody was so excited to play baseball, that he didn't even go in the house when they got home. Heath got his glove, ball and bat and they played out in the front until it was time for bed!
T-ball starts soon! Heath is going to be Brody's coach this year. I think he's going to do a great job!
And this picture cracks me up...Our little princess ballerina wanted everyone to watch her "do ballet." She was not getting the attention that she demanded, so she got right between their game.
I told her that this area was her stage so that she would stay out of their way!
