Our Easter celebration started on Friday night with baskets from Grandma and Grandpa and coloring eggs.
Grandma picked up egg glasses for Brody and bunny ears for Madelyn.
Brody enjoyed the hard boiled eggs, but said his tummy hurt after 2!
And grandma went crazy overboard on the kids Easter baskets!
The kids were thrilled with their new Crocs!
On Saturday morning we went to Heath's company's annual Easter egg hunt. Since the ground was so saturated, they did it in a hotel ballroom. Definitely not as fun as in a big field!
For Easter Sunday, we had to wake the kids up! They were still sleeping at 7:00, and we had to get to 9:00 mass! The Easter bunny also went overboard...like mother like daughter?
After mass, I had the kids pose for a few pictures before they got their clothes messed up!
After I got the food ready, we headed out to Heath's grandparents house for lunch. It was delicious! We were lucky that the weather was nice so the kids could run around outside!
After we headed home, we played outside on their bikes and with the bubbles and chalk from the Easter bunny.
