First Ballet Class

This post is a week late. But, I don't think anyone is really keeping track, so we're good. Last Saturday, the day I had been waiting for since I found out my baby was going to be a girl. Madelyn had her first ballet class. It was sweet, she loved it, and she did so good! I was a proud mama that day, for sure. I didn't cry, like I thought I might.

She loves it and can't wait for the next class. She wakes up every day and says, "I go to ballet?" and then we have to remind her that it's only on Saturdays.

I didn't take many pictures, and the one video that I thought was going to be really good didn't really record. They don't let us sit in the room (which as a former preschool dance teacher, I think this is fantastic for the teacher's sake), but I know that there will be lots of dance pictures to come!
