Brody's drawing

Last night I was going through some development questions with Brody to get him enrolled for preschool next year. One of the questions was to have him draw a picture of a person. I wasn't sure what he would do. To this point, he's always been way ahead with gross motor skills and behind with the fine motor. I figured I'd have to answer "not yet" on the question. Well, he blew me away! I asked him to draw a boy and here is what he did. He even added a little extra. He wanted his boy to have really long finger nails...not sure why, but whatever...at least there was some purpose behind the really long fingers!

The boy has spiky hair, that was totally intentional, too. He is lacking a body, but that didn't keep me from marking "yes" on the form!
