Our weekend

I didn't intend to take a week off of blogging, but having my computer in "the shop" puts a damper on things! I should have it back later this week. I was secretly hoping he would say it was shot and I needed a new one, but it turns out I just need a new fan.

We had a great weekend...but it went by way too fast!

Friday night, my friend Laura came to town. She was making the rounds and I got to spend Friday night and most of the day Saturday with her. It was fun to go shopping with a friend. I haven't done much of that since college! On Friday night we went to dinner. We waited about 30+ minutes for our table...as soon as we got to the table, Brody threw up all over the booth! Yuck! It was strange because he was acting totally normal leading up to it, and was fine afterwards, too. He must have ate something bad? I'm just glad it wasn't really the flu! So Heath and Brody went home and Laura, Madelyn and I stayed and ate dinner. In the booth he threw up in...gross, I know, but I didn't know what to do...they cleaned it up and I felt guilty just leaving.

Then on Saturday, we met up at the mall and had lunch at my favorite place, Nordstrom's Cafe, and did some shopping. I picked up a new shirt to wear for our family pictures this spring. Seeing all the Spring/Summer clothes got me really excited for summer to be here!

Saturday night, we had Lindsey and Nate's engagement party at a great little art gallery called ARTichokes. It was such a fun party! They had us paint a painting for them to hang in their home! What a fun idea!

We took it really easy on Sunday. I had 1 too many glasses of wine on Saturday night, so I was moving a little slow. I did manage to take the kids up to the park and went to the grocery store!
