Last night when Madelyn got home from daycare, Heath asked her to tell me what she wanted to get. She immediately said, "Earrings. Me earrings Mommy?" Yeah, she just turned 2...I'm pretty sure I'm not looking forward to the next 16+ years with this one!
We met with our Parents as Teachers lady at their playroom last night. Brody was serving us all something to drink. She asked him what she was drinking and he started to say, "dia..." then stopped himself and started giggling. I think he was going to say diet coke, but it started to come out "diarrhea." He quickly corrected himself and said "Pop! It's pop!" I was totally embarrassed and Heath and I were both crying from laughing so hard! She got a laugh out of it too. I had to explain that he had been on an antibiotic and had some diarrhea, so it was fresh in his mind...and we drink a lot of Diet Coke.
