Thanksgiving with the Mallicoats!

We've started a new routine of traveling to Chicago every other year for Thanksgiving, and this is one of those years. We're really getting excited to see my mom and dad, their new house and the rest of the family in Chicago. Since we won't be here for Thanksgiving, we invited Heath's parents, Christie and the boys over to celebrate on Sunday. I made the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy.

My turkey!

The boys at the kids table.

The adult table, plus Madelyn!

My store bought pies ($2.99 each at aldi...and delicious)! Funny thing about those little plates...I must have said that I needed to get out the pie plates out loud because Brody gathered those up for me. Those are the play ones they have in their kitchen! He such a good helper!

After dinner everyone went outside for a little playtime to work off our meal! The weather was great! Hard to believe it's really November!

Nicholas and Papa playing football!

Brody, Garret and Heath playing on the trampoline.

Mmmm...pie! She loved the pumpkin pie, especially the cool whip!

Brody and Nicholas with their pie. Garrett didn't want any pie...silly kid!

We have about one more day of leftovers and I have been enjoying every bit of them! Looking forward to doing it all again next week at my mom and dad's!
