Halloween gave us a good way to kick off the week after a really great weekend of celebrating Brody's birthday! I took the day off to spend time with my mom and go to Brody's Halloween party at school.
We didn't have much time to relax or do anything we wanted to because we were so busy running errands, getting Brody to school, going to his party and then getting back home to fix dinner and get ready for Trick or Treating!
Brody's school had a costume parade and a class party. It was fun to see all of the costumes!

After school we made dinner. Halloween shaped pasta for mac and cheese and leftover chili dogs from the birthday party! They were perfect for Halloween dinner
The kids put on their costumes and we hit the streets! Brody was Mr. Coversation! He would ring the door bell, say trick or treat, get his candy and then proceed to have a conversation with the person. If they had a dog he'd say "you got a dog in there? Can I pet it?" And he always left saying "Have a nice day!" He was cracking us up! Miss Madelyn enjoyed herself, too. She wasn't interested in going to every house, but she did go up to quite a few. She was most content sitting in the wagon eating fruit snacks or M&Ms!

| It's nearly impossible to get a picture of both of them smiling at the camera! I think Brody was getting into character! |
