Brody's birthday morning started bright an early! Madelyn woke up and came into bed with us around 5:30 and Brody woke up about 6:10. After taking care of diapers, potty and starting the coffee, we had Brody open his gift from us! We got him a Cars scooter and he loves it! It didn't take him long to get the hang of it!
Then Brody and Heath ran to QT for some donuts as a special birthday breakfast treat!
After donuts Brody rook a few laps around the house on his new scooter!
Then we went up to Brody's swimming lesson. My mom and Julie met us there. They were so excited to see grandma! Brody was a little wound up from the birthday excitement and wasn't the best behaved kid in the class...
But he did do a great job swimming and even came up for a breath!
After swimming lessons we finished getting ready for Brody's party and making alternate plans in case we couldn't have the bonfire at the park! There has been a county-wide burn ban for a while because it's been so dry. I called around to see if we were going to have it and couldn't get an answer from anyone! Stay tuned for more details about the party!
