We had a great weekend, but as always, it went too fast! On Saturday we had a playgroup at our house and then we drove down to Mound City to get our pictures taken. More on that later!
On Sunday afternoon it was so windy! Me and the kids went to Heritage Park to fly our kite! It was perfect and there were some other kite fliers there.
The kids thought it was fun, but they were quickly distracted by the nearby playground!

I lost their interest after only a few minutes. They both headed over the playground. I had let the kite get pretty high, so it took a while to get it reeled in. I think next time we go to fly a kite we'll stay away from the playground. It was too difficult to make sure nobody falls off the playground and reel in the kite!

Since Brody listened really well at the park, I promised he could have a pumpkin pie ice cream cone after dinner. (And both kids almost cleared their plates)

It was a great weekend, and I'm happy to see our weekends slowing down! Stay tuned for a sneak peak of our family pictures!
