Hiking and Rehearsal Dinner

On Friday we hiked Pinnacle Peak in Scottsdale. We had never been hiking before. It was a great workout! I wore my heart rate monitor and burned 859 calories in an hour and 15 minutes! I wish we lived by a mountain so we could go hiking more often! It was a lot of fun! We tried to get started about 7:30 am so that we would avoid the heat, but we got started a little late. It didn't get too bad until the very end. Luckily there were a  lot of shaded areas to stop and catch our breath. I needed it by the end!

The views were awesome! Some of the houses near the bottom of the mountain were amazing. I know why people retire in Arizona!

On Friday night was the rehearsal dinner at Dave and Busters. It was a lot of fun to play in the arcade...we haven't done that in a long time. In fact, I don't know that Heath and I had ever done it! We won the kids some junk with all of our tickets! After the rehearsal dinner we went to another bar nearby. We did a lot of dancing...it was a blast!
