So, this will be week 2 of having the menu planned before the weekend! Last week I mixed it up a little bit, and we actually have a meal and leftovers still from last week!
A few reviews of new recipes...the Pepproncini Beef was really good, but I think that I will stick to our regular Chicago Style Italian Beef with a jar of Pepperoncinis added. I will post the recipe the next time we make it. The Sweet and Sour Meatball Skewers were ok...they were good, but nothing special. Probably won't do those again soon. There are a lot of other skewer recipes that I would rather make. The Mexican Lasagna was good, as always, but it's a lot of work!!
Here's the line up for this week:
Saturday: Marinated Grilled Chicken, Salad, Green Beans and Baked Potatoes (from last week's menu)
Sunday: Leftover Mexican Lasagna
Monday: Grilled Chicken with Lemon Basil Pasta
Tuesday: Mothers and More Family Picnic
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: Brats with sauerkraut, baked beans and mac and cheese
Then we're off to St. Louis for Father's day weekend! Can't wait to see my parents and Busch Stadium! It will be a first for us! We're hoping to fit in the Magic House Children's Museum, Grant's Farm, the Arch (for Julie and Billy and Mom), the Brewery Tour and then the Royals/Cardinals game, of course!
