***this story is old, but I don't want to forget it, and since I was bad at keeping up with the blog for a while, I'm documenting it now***
When Brody had just turned 2, one of his tennis shoes went missing. We couldn't find it anywhere! We asked him to help us find it, and he just ignored us. We looked everywhere for about a week. He had other shoes to wear, so we could wait a while to go buy him new shoes. When we finally came to terms with the fact that the shoe was not going to show up, we bought some new shoes. It turns out, the shoes he had been wearing were a size and a half too small! The next day, the missing shoe showed up on my dresser! Out of nowhere! We tore the house apart looking for that shoe, and the day after we got him new shoes it showed back up!
