I just have to document tonight's events, so that someday down the road we can look back and laugh at how crazy life was when we both were working full time...
I had a whole post typed out and then my Internet went out and half of it didn't save, so I am doing this as a bulleted list...this is the perfect preface to the night we had!
-Last night, had a little bit of extra time, so I made some spaghetti sauce to put in the crock pot today- awesome
-Heath and I brag about how awesome I am that I already have dinner ready for the next night...
-5:15 tonight, I get home, put water on the stove for the spaghetti, preheat the oven for garlic bread and unload the dishwasher
-5:35, Heath and the kids get home, dinner is almost ready- awesome!
-We sit down to eat and Madelyn makes a huge mess- no big deal, we decide to go straight to the bath after dinner
-While the kids finish up dinner, Heath takes out the trash and I make some egg salad with the Easter eggs and do the dishes.
-Brody decides he wants an egg (he liked it!) and of course Maddy needs one too.
-Maddy didn't like it, half of it ended up of the floor (along with some spaghetti, too). No big deal, we needed to clean the floor anyways.
-Heath comes in from taking the trash down and takes the kids up to start their baths.
-I finish up my egg salad.
-MADDY POOPED IN THE TUB!
-Heath takes the kids into the shower to rinse them off.
-I fish the poop (like 10 turds) out of the tub and get all of the toys out.
-Heath gets their PJs on and I finish up the dishes.
-We corral the kids into the hallway with the baby gates so they can read books while Heath cleans the dining room floor and I bleach the tub and toys.
-After that, we have a whole 10 minutes to spend together before it's times for bed and Heath's call.
-So...we did not start P90X again tonight...instead, Heath is enjoying a big bowl of ice cream, and mommy is enjoying a (second) glass of wine!
