Jump!

Despite the fact that Brody had Strep throat this weekend, he was feeling pretty good after getting started on antibiotics on Saturday morning. We missed his first swimming lesson...and they have this week off for Spring Break. So, we'll start in 2 weeks.

He's back at daycare today, but I'm home with Maddy...she woke up with a fever. I called the doctor to see if we really needed to come in (since we have like 3" of snow on the ground). I was hoping he would just call her in a prescription assuming that she has Strep. Well, it turns out that babies don't usually get Strep, so they don't want to give her antibiotics with out seeing her. I'm going to see how she's doing when she gets up from her nap, and I might take her in this afternoon.

We had to take advantage of the warmer temps so on Saturday, Heath set up the trampoline that Brody got for Christmas from grandma and grandpa Schilf! He LOVES it! It's 8 feet which is the perfect size for him. I've also found that using the trampoline as a bribe for staying in bed works! We haven't had issues with him staying in bed when you tell him he won't be able to jump on the trampoline! Love when I find something that works!

Heath said that Brody has his shoes off and was ready to start jumping before he was finished putting it together! We aren't really sure how he knew to take his shoes off...the only thing I can think is from the inflatables at the church picnic.

Brody is in heaven on the trampoline...I'm sure that we will spend many many days out in the backyard this summer! (Mommy and daddy had fun jumping, too!)
