It's inevitable...

Of course, we are supposed to have great weather this weekend and Brody gets sick! I'm going to take him up to the walk-in hours at the pediatrician first thing tomorrow morning. I'm pretty sure he has strep throat :( Poor guy! He is so miserable when the Motrin wears off. But when it kicks in...that's a different story! He had so much energy...you would never know he was sick! He's also supposed to have his first swimming lesson tomorrow! I'm sure the doctor will tell us to skip it.

Maddy had a first today! She stood up on her own! I was holding her hand and she let go of me...I thought she was going to take a step, but she didn't. Her balance is definitely improving! I don't think it will be long before she walks. She'll walk with us (for a few steps) just holding one hand.

Since Brody was feeling good with the Motrin, we spent some time outside early this evening. It's the first chance we've had to get out on the swingset this year! The backyard has been so wet. It still is, but it should be drying out over the next few days. I'm hoping that Heath will take some time to put up his trampoline up tomorrow! I can't wait to get out there and jump with him :)
