Birthdays

There are a lot of birthdays in the first couple months of the year on Heath's side of the family, so we usually get together with everyone for cake and ice cream, to celebrate everyone.

This year we gathered and Janis and Howard's for soup in addition to the cake and ice cream.

For some reason, Maddy wanted nothing to do with sitting in the high chair. Then she couldn't decide if she'd rather sit with mommy or daddy. She missed her afternoon nap, so I think she was just tired and cranky. But that didn't keep her from eating...that girl can eat! She ate a whole piece of corn bread, some chicken and noodles, cheese, and a piece of chocolate cake! We should call her the Very Hungry Caterpillar!
