I'm not the biggest fan of Halloween. Of course I love getting the kids costumes and all that, but what I really love is when it's over and we can start listening to Christmas music! I know...some of you are rolling your eyes. At least I don't decorate until after Thanksgiving...though it's hard to wait :)
I have a few posts to get caught up on including a certain 6 year old's birthday, some field trips and of course Halloween (and how we handled candy). But in the mean time, here is a picture of the kids in costume from last weekend at Deanna Rose for Night of the Living Farm!
Madelyn's wig cracked me up. We have a low-key weekend planned. And I'm ready for it. I am excited to actually make a meal plan for next week. We've been eating a lot of easy meals lately...and with our food restrictions, easy meals are limited and I'm getting bored with them!
We're having a movie night tonight and I'm planning to meet a friend for a few drinks after the kids go to bed. Then tomorrow, Brody has his last flag football game. I hate to say it, but I'm so glad it's the last game. This season has been a struggle. I wish we were headed to the lake this weekend to take in the fall colors. I read that they are at their peak. We'll be down there next weekend though, and I'm hoping that they will stick around for a week for us!
Happy Friday!
