Madelyn's 1st Haircut

Well, it technically wasn't her 1st haircut. I had her bangs cut twice before, which turned out to be a big mistake based on her cowlicks. But, this was her first REAL haircut. I didn't think we'd see this day for a while. I personally wasn't ready to get rid of her curls, and she insisted on never cutting it so it could be like Rapunzel. But then, while I was trying to brush through her tangles one morning last week, she decided she wanted to get her hair cut like mommy's. So, luckily my hair stylist, Nicole, had an opening on Saturday morning.

Madelyn was super nervous and wanted me to hold her. Can you see her nervous smile?

We cut off about 7 or 8 inches! I kept the little pigtails, of course! She keeps telling everyone her curls are gone!
