It is so hard to believe that the first day of Kindergarten has come and gone. At one time this day seemed so far away. Madelyn also started Preschool today, too! So it was a big day in our house. Madelyn didn't have a full day today though. She will start on Monday. Today we were able to drop off her supplies, check out the classroom and visit with her teacher and new friends.
We started the morning off with breakfast in our PJs (the kids favorite thing to do). Brody chose a pumpkin muffin, cantaloupe and yogurt. Madelyn chose a donut, cantaloupe and yogurt!
After eating and getting dressed, we headed outside for our traditional photo shoot!

He did great! When we told him we were leaving he gave us a look like he didn't realize we would leave him. Luckily he knew a few kids in the class already from preschool and soccer. I think he's going to have a great year! We are lucky to have a fantastic teacher and be at a great school!
After leaving Brody we took Madelyn down to her new classroom. She was a little shy, and I think we might have a rough transition for her.

And read a few books. I think she'll do great in preschool. Especially after we get through the first few drop offs!
Heath and I both went to pick Brody up after school. He was in a great mood and super hungry! I was glad we had some snacks for him! Here he is was when we picked him up!
