Last {Last} Weekend

Last weekend was the first "normal" weekend we've had in a while. Brody had a t-ball game at 9:00 am, so we talked a little bit about running down to the lake for the night, but we decided we needed to get a little bit caught up on things around the house.

Friday night we went to our first Royals' home game of the year with Julie and Billy.

My kids are hilarious because they just stop in front of things and let me take their picture. I'm not sure when this started. Maybe it was Disneyland? But they stopped at least 4 times and posed for a picture. Made me laugh.

I took the kids by myself to play at the Little K, and it was sort of a bad idea. Brody realized how much power he had over me and wouldn't stay in my sight. Madelyn listened and stayed with me so she got a special treat.

I'm glad we didn't make plans to go to the lake, because we had some friends in town, so we met for a quick lunch to see their new baby on Saturday afternoon. I love the growing number of little people!

It was a rare relaxing weekend at home, and we enjoyed it! After we got home from lunch, the kids put their swim suits on and we set up the sprinkler in the back yard. Heath wasn't excited about doing it, but I reminded him that it wasn't costing us any money and the kids had a blast! Who could ask for more?

We're home for the next 2 weekends, and it's supposed to get hot! I think we'll be pulling that sprinkler back out for sure!
