Brody's Last Soccer Game

We tried soccer again this Spring, but it still doesn't seem to be Brody's thing. At least not now.

He was a rock star at his first t-ball game last weekend, and I think that we'll focus on that and flag football for a while.

 He's just not that aggressive and didn't have much desire to kick the ball into the goal.

He needs a job to do, like in baseball or flag football.

 Scoring a goal in soccer wasn't rewarding enough for him.

Same thing for basketball...he didn't care if he got the ball or scored a basket.

  And that's ok. I'd rather him pick one or two to focus on.

He sure looked cute in his Umbros and shin guards, but I'm not upset that we are probably going to take a year off. Maybe when he matures a little bit and understands it a little bit more, we'll try it again.
