| If I ever want people to be jealous of me, all I have to do is post a picture of Jalepeno's chips and salsa on facebook, and it will do the trick :) |
We started the celebration on Wednesday at Brody's school party since he was out on Valentine's Day.
Here are his Valentine's this year:
I downloaded the file from Amanda's Parties To Go. Then I cut them out and Brody signed the backs. Then he helped me stuff the bags with Swedish Fish.
I signed up to bring treats for the Valentine's party. I saw heart shaped rice krispie treats on Pinterest, and I thought that would be fun for the preschoolers. I used the strawberry marshmallows and drizzled them with chocolate & added sprinkles.
I also cut some strawberries into heart shapes, but those didn't turn out as cute!
The room mom and her daughter decorated sugar cookies. They turned out so cute!
Heath actually took a half day, so Madelyn came to the party, too! Brody's teacher was sweet enough to let her participate in the games and crafts. She will (fingers crossed) be in Mrs. Donaldson's class next year. I don't think we'll have any trouble with her transitioning. She would fit in today if we let her!
Thursday started with donuts and strawberry milk (diet coke for Heath). I went to Jazzercise and stopped on my way home. I think everyone was surprised!
Brody has been asking to go out for Chinese food (to use chopsticks) for a while now. We decided to go to our favorite Chinese buffet, only to realize that it was closed for remodeling! So, we stopped at Bo Lings. Luckily, they only had a 10 mintue wait.
And Brody got to use chopsticks.
After dinner, we went to get Frozen Yogurt! We had the place to ourselves! I guess no one else was in the mood for it that night. We're always in the mood!
