Brody the Builder

Brody got a set of real, child-sized tools for his birthday. He's been helping daddy with projects around the house, but he's yet to take on any projects of his own. For Christmas, grandma and papa bought him a couple project sets with wood, glue and nails for him to work on.

He's been asking since Christmas Eve to "do his tools" so Heath made it a priority to sit down and do it last night.

They first worked on a bird feeder. Brody was a little disappointed that it didn't require any hammering, so they also worked on a train.

Daddy helped to sort and label all the wood.

And helped point out the steps.

 But Brody did most of the work himself. He even read some of the directions before daddy got to them.

And little sister helped supervise. And decided she wants her own tools to build.

And here is the proud little boy with his finished products. Next up is painting...which mommy will be in charge of!
