Labor Day Weekend

I'm getting behind again, aren't I! It's been a busy couple of weeks, and I haven't had a lot of time to get these photos off the camera and onto the computer. But, don't worry...I am here.

I already told you about the first half of our Labor Day weekend...we went to the K-State game! Then on Sunday, we were SUPER LAZY! Saturday wore all of us out, for sure!

I was feeling guilty about not doing anything on Sunday, so we made the most of our day off on Monday!

We started the day at the apple orchard! It's something I've wanted to do for a couple of years, so this year I was determined to make it happen! We trekked all the way up to Platte City to go to Alldredge Orchards because I heard that they had good apples. And they did! And it was so fun! We picked apples, ate cookies and fed the chickens! I'm glad we went early, because it got really hot later that day! I think we'll definitely be back again next year.
