Fun in the sun & celebrating friends

We spent last Saturday in our pool for most of the afternoon. The kids love it, and I love spending time outside with them, too.

Check out Madelyn's 4th of July suit! I was totally against triangle top bikinis for babies, but I couldn't pass this one up.

Then that night, we headed to our friends house for a couples shower for our friends, Lindsey and Nate who are getting married next month. Amanda and Casey always throw a good party. For the shower they prepared a pizza bar where everyone built their own pizzas and Casey grilled them. It was such a cute idea, and they turned out pretty good, too!

We're so excited for Nate a Lindsey to get married! They are both so great and we can't wait to celebrate with them!
