Finally last week, my mom and dad made it down to celebrate Christmas! Like always, it was a quick visit...and I had strep throat while they were here! Luckily, I knew what it was right away and got on antibiotics right away. I got to take a sick day while they were here...even though I spent most of the day on the couch, I got to stay home with them and the kids. Brody sure didn't want me there though! He told me to go to the doctor and stay there, 'cause Grandma and Papa were watching him! Then when I got back from the doctor, I told him I was going to take a nap in my room, and he came up and shut my door and told me to just stay up there. I've never felt so loved...
They got in on Tuesday night and the kids opened their gifts! I was sick on the couch...so these pictures aren't the best!

They watched the kids on Wednesday (I was home) and Thursday. Thursday night we went out to Cinzetti's for dinner...one of our favorites! And then on Friday morning they headed back to Chicago. Maybe someday they'll end up back here so we can stop having such quick visits!
