I can't put into words how fun Christmas morning is with a 4 year old and almost 2 year old. When they rounded the corner to head downstairs, they held so much anticipation and Brody was a little unsure about what to expect. I think that the thought of having Santa in our house in the middle of the night sort of freaks him out. The fact that Santa brought the 'cars go round' was so awesome to him. He kept saying, "That's what I wanted!"

| Brody checking out the note Santa left :( We are still waiting for the eBay 'elves' to deliver the new one... |

| This is the doll that Madelyn wanted...too bad she won't give it the time of day! She never wants it turned on. It walks, talks, plays peek a boo, lays down and goes to sleep, etc. I think she'll warm up to it someday, it just hasn't happened yet! |
 |
| Brody's pretty excited about his guitar! It's a a little big for him, but he'll grow into it! He has been making up songs for us. |
 |
| Madelyn is also freaked out by this dog we got her. She makes the funniest dog noise and we saw this at the store and were so surprised that it sounded just like her... |
 |
| Heath has wanted boots for a while and I finally bought him some. He really liked the ones I picked out, which was good because they were one of the only pairs that I liked! |
After opening gifts and eating breakfast, we got dressed and made it to 10:30 mass. It's amazing how few people go on Christmas day anymore. We like it for now. It's a lot better than fighting the crowds at the Christmas Eve masses! Our church opens the doors at noon for the 4:00 mass on Christmas Eve...no thanks!

| Brody isn't as sad as he looks in the picture...this is just the best self timer shot I was able to get before everyone had enough! |
