Over Labor Day weekend, we had my 10 year reunion! It is so hard to believe that it has been 10 years since high school. Seeing so many old friends was great, and almost everyone was exactly as I remember them! Facebook sure did take a lot of the awkward-ness out of the reunion! I remember wondering if we would even have reunions when I started becoming friends with people from high school about 5 years ago.
I was on the planning committee and had a great time planning and getting reaquanted with some good friends from high school. It was definitely good for a few laughs!
We planned a lot of events so that we could accomodate as many people as possible since we hoped for a lot of people to come to town for the holiday weekend.
Friday night a group of us met at a newer bar with a great patio for drinks and appetizers. The yearbooks came out, and we had a lot of fun catching up with each other (and any gossip that anyone had to share). I have very few pictures from this night.
On Saturday morning, we had a family day at Deanna Rose! It was fun to see the kids of the class of 2001! There were quite a few that weren't able to make it, but here is a group picture that we took before going into the park.

| Madelyn is so into babies! It was hard to keep her away from baby Amelia! |
Later that night, we headed up to Freddy T's for karaoke! We had a really good turnout and quite a few people actually got up to sing!
 |
| Me and Katie! So glad you came, Katie!!! It was so fun to catch up! |
 |
| Me and Kristin, one of my planning partners! So glad we were able to reconnect! We live less than a mile from each other and will see a lot of each other at St. Michael's! |
 |
| Yes, we're singing "Eye of the Tiger"...so sorry you missed it! |
 |
Me and LeClede singing 'Don't Stop Believing'! Right before we sang, she said, "Mrs. Moeller would be so proud." She's always made me laugh!
Sunday night was the main event! We wanted to keep the event close to 'home' and wanted to show off the developments over the past 10 years. We had the dinner at the Lodge at Ironwoods. Everyone seemed really pleased with the location. Kristin did an awesome job putting together these center pieces.

| One of our classmates is a graphic designer and created this awesome logo that we used to have some glasses made. |

I didn't get a picture with Kevin, but I got a picture of him thanking everyone for coming.
I feel like the event went by way too fast! I didn't get to spend the time that I wanted to with some friends, and I didn't get pictures with a lot of people that I would have liked to, but here I tried to get as many as I could!

Me with Erin, Kelli and Katie
Me with Sarah and Lauren. They are both expecting! So cute!
We had to be out of the Lodge at 10, so the party continued at Lewylln's with some flip cup! I played one round and decided it wasn't very wise of me.
They were totally not prepared for us to show up at 10:00 on a Sunday night! They had to call in extra help!
And last pic of the night...love these girls! Erin- I had so much fun catching up! Miss you! |
And there it is! I'm so glad it's over, but I'm so glad that I had the chance to be a part of planning!
