Madelyn's hair has grown really fast over the past couple of months. Before I knew it, she was getting boogers and food in her hair, so I figured it was time to do something about it. She never keeps a clip or ponytail holder in, so I decided it was time to get some bangs. Also, she has some crazy cowlicks (the one in the back goes to the left and the one in the front goes to the right) so her hair would never stay off to one side or the other. They sort of cancelled each other out and forced her hair to go straight front!
After the recommendation of some people in the moms group, we chose to take her to Sugar and Spice. I was so excited and thought she would love sitting in the Barbie car...oh was I wrong! I set her in there and she immediately started crying and wanted nothing to do with it. So, I sat her on my lap and the poor stylist cut her bangs as fast as she could! I felt so bad...I could tell she was nervous! But she did a great job. I was REALLY nervous that we would end up with a mullet, but it turned out so cute! Look for future after pics...I was so flustered and I totally forgot to use my coupons and get a lock of her hair!
We snuck in a haircut for Brody, too! I have been cutting his hair at home, but he doesn't let me finish it up, so he was left with some stray long hairs and the neck was not clean at all! He sat so good for her to cut his hair! I guess we just need a Harley for him to sit on here...maybe he'll sit still for me?
