St. Louis Day 2

On Saturday, we woke up to rain. We had planned to go to Grant's Farm in the morning and the brewery in the afternoon, but because of the rain we switched it up and went on the brewery tour first. Heath and I had gone on the brewery tour about 5 years ago with his family. I don't think a single thing about the tour has changed!

One of the first stops was at the Clydesdale's stables.

Then we walked through the brewing process. I love admiring the detail and architecture at the brewery!

This chandelier was 4 stories tall!

Me and my girl.

Family pic!

Another family pic...check out the Popeye face :)

Hospitality room! Brody is enjoying his free pop and pretzels while the rest of us enjoy our free beer. (see the guy in the navy shirt and khakis to the right? he had just knocked over his entire beer into his girlfriend/wife's brand new louis vuitton bag...oops! she was not happy...he cleaned up the entire thing by himself while she sat and pouted.)
Heath enjoying sample #1.

Mom and dad enjoying their first samples.

This was a blueberry beer...it was pretty good, but boy did I feel tipsy after finishing it. 8% Alcohol! Can't have too many of those!

Onto Grant's Farm! We were all tired and hungry by this point. We didn't realize that you have to get on the tram to get to the food area rest of the park.

We got off the tram and sort of rushed through the animals to get some food! The kids enjoyed some PBJs and the rest of us had brats and more free beer!

As soon as we got back to the hotel we had to change into our Royal's gear and head to the game. We parked (for $5!) and met Julie and Billy at their hotel for a beer before heading to the game! Here is a view from their room...$60 a night on Priceline! Not bad! We were originally planning to take the train, so I made our reservation near Union Station. Because of the schedule we ended up driving, so it would have been better to be closer to the stadium. Oh well...I really do need to try priceline sometime though...
