We took it pretty easy this Memorial Day. After the weather we had on Sunday, I was looking forward to setting up our pools and new slip and slide in the back yard. Unfortunately, it was pretty cloudy. I went ahead and set them up and filled the pool with water, hoping that the sun would come out and warm it up. We hung out for a while outside anyways. It was warm, but not hot like I'd hoped.

Later that afternoon, we went to Kurt and Lauren's house for a BBQ. We had a great time catching up with friends, and the kids had fun playing in someone else's yard. Brody played catch with the guys and Madelyn was all over the place. She wore her new 4th of July outfit...so cute! I brought
my new favorite pasta salad...I will be making this one a lot this summer. It's definitely a crowd pleaser, but I can't get Heath to eat it because it has vinegar. The kid is missing out on so much.

| Madelyn was playing yard games. This one kept her busy for a while. She kept putting the ropes on the pipe and when she had them all up she pulled them all off and started over again. |

| Madelyn and her BFF Lyla. Lyla was born in August and weighs the same as Madelyn. Madelyn is a head taller than Lyla! The funny thing is, I don't think Lyla looks that chubby...and Madelyn doesn't look that small! Lyla hides it well :) |
