Worlds of Fun!

Each year Garmin has a day at Worlds of Fun. The whole park was opened exclusively for Garmin employees and their families! So that meant getting on to any ride you want without a wait! It was great! We tried to have someone come with us so that we could enjoy some of the rides, but no one could come with. Maybe next year. It turned out to be a cold and windy day. We had the kids bundled up and covered in blankets. It's been pretty cold and rainy that last couple of times we've gone, so it's been a while since we've experienced a water ride!

Worlds of Fun has made so many improvements over the past couple of years. It used to smell like sewage and we would cover ourselves in hand sanitizer multiple times during the day. Now, it is so clean, doesn't smell and they have a great area for families with young children. This year, they opened a family care center with clean bathrooms, diaper changing areas, high chairs, private feeding areas and a tv and toys for kids that need some down time. And it's staffed, so you can always count on it being clean! Such a great benefit for parents with young children!

We spent most of our day in the Planet Snoopy area. Brody rode most of the rides, and Madelyn got to ride a couple, too! They are building a new roller coaster for the kiddos, so we'll have to go back to check it out once it's done. We also rode the train and saw deer running around in the woods! It's kind of scary that they were inside the gates of the park...luckily we didn't run into them anywhere else!
Cold Baby!

First ride.

Brody with Snoopy! Madelyn did not like him!

Madelyn's first ride! Brody picked the Sally truck...Heath wasn't too excited about it. It was the first car, so I think that's why he chose it.

On the roller coaster! See Brody's hands in the air? They were up the whole time!

Picking some tunes for lunch.

Ready for the train ride!

So excited to see Charlie and Sally Brown! Brody and Madelyn were Charlie and Sally for Halloween last year.

Playing in the ball room (or whatever they call it). Brody had a blast in here!

Riding the balloons. This one took some convincing from daddy. I think Heath really wanted to ride this one :)

Getting ready to ride the mini-detonator! I wish I could bottle up Brody's giggles during this ride. He had so much fun! It's kind of intense for a 3 year old, but he loved it!
Watching the real roller coasters. He will be riding as soon as he is tall enough.
On the camp bus with Brody and Madelyn.
