Weekend

This weekend we had nothing that had to get done, which was good because I came down with a cold on Friday night...no fun, but I guess it was bound to happen after taking care of 2 sick kids for the past week!

Friday night I was so excited to do the P90X Yoga with Heath. I never in my life thought that I would get Heath Mallicoat to do Yoga...well, I guess I was right. He did it for a whole 10 minutes and decided he didn't like it. So, I did the whole hour and 30 minutes by myself. I needed it after the previous 3 workouts!

Saturday morning, I woke up feeling awful, so I stayed in bed until about 10 or so. It was nice to get the extra sleep! Heath and Brody went to Cabela's with Heath's dad and Maddy and I ran to the grocery store. It rained all day Saturday, so we spent the rest of the afternoon inside. I made this for dinner and it was delicious! We used whole grain spaghetti. It's definitely a keeper! I used 2 cans of cream of chicken instead of the cream of mushroom because I knew heath would freak if he knew I used cream of mushroom!

After dinner, we wanted to get out of the house, so we made a family trip to Target for some cold medicine for me. We walked around the whole store and made it out of there spending $50...we just went for cold medicine!

We got home in time to watch the Cats lose. :( I'm not a big basketball person, but I hate when the cats lose!

Sunday morning, I went to church by myself since the nursery is closed for Spring Break. When I got back from church we ate lunch and headed up to the Legends! And so did everyone else in Kansas City! It was PACKED! I think a lot of people go there just for the entertainment of it. It was nearly impossible to maneuver my double stroller around the sidewalks let alone inside the stores! We got some really great deals though, so we can't complain too much.

After we were done shopping, we decided to get the kids (and us) a little treat!

Later on Sunday, I went over to my friend Kelly's for dinner to see Kelli Budd and her new baby, Kennedy! They are in town this week from Pheonix. She's such a little thing! I wanted to hold her so bad, but I didn't want to risk getting her sick.

I was so upset that Maddy was still coughing and didn't get to come with me. My friends are finally having babies, and I love it!

Kelly was such a great hostess! It was so fun to finally see her house! I haven't been able to make it to the last couple of parties she's had, so I was glad to finally make it over there!

So that's our weekend in a nutshell! The weather next weekend is supposed to be nasty...more rain and cold! I guess it is still March...We are definitely ready for summer! We're taking advantage of every opportunity we have to get outside! Have a great week!
