"Mommy"
In the past week, Brody has started calling me "Mommy" as opposed to "Mama". It just totally melts my heart. He attaches it to the beginning or end of every sentance, so that makes it even more sweet. He's gone through a couple of "growth spurts" when it comes to his speech. He was a little delayed, and at one point we were considering the free speech therapy that the school district offers, but before we knew it, he was speaking really well. Recently he's just amazed me. His vocabulary grows everyday, and you can really have a conversation with him. He's defintely moved on from being a baby/toddler. He'll start preschool this fall, and I have no doubt that he'll be ready! I'm hoping to get him into the Blue Valley Peer Model program. He's so compassionate and loving, so I think it will be a great way to foster those traits.
