Tree decorating

Normally we wait until after Thanksgiving and put up a real Christmas tree. This year, there is a lot of traveling going on, so we decided to get ahead of the game and put up our fake tree. The decision was sort of a quick one. We were at Wal-Mart on Saturday and found these wonderful little things called ScentSicles! They are ornaments that smell like a real tree! I picked up a package of fir scented ones (our tree of choice is a fraser fir). OMG! They are Ahhh-mazing! You walk in the house and you would never know that we didn't have a real tree! It makes me not feel so guilty about not going real this year!

Brody was such a big helper decorating this year! I might have had to rearrange every ornament he put on, but it was fun to have him involved! He was in charge of putting all of daddy's sports guys on the tree.

Madelyn on the other hand, lived up to her reputation (the destroyer)! She was all over the place! Getting her hands on anything and everything she could! We never had an issue with keeping Brody way from the tree! But she is getting better...
